"Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret." - Ambrose Bierce

The sentence speaks for itself.. The reason such a quote is presented is because I have in these few days been quite irritable.. In the course of those few days.. I have displayed a cantankerous demeanor.. So in this post.. I would like to express my deepest apologies as I feel nothing but ashamed of my needless aggressions..

So to make it all up.. Here's something for you.. :)

2011 Resolutions..

:).. Well I guess I'm a bit left out when it comes to writing my resolutions.. ;p..
But, it doesn't matter.. It either now or never right? :D
Truth be told.. I've had these resolutions fluttering around in my mind like butterflies since last year.. :P.. It just never seemed to be of the utmost importance to compose a list.. Until I realized I wasn't following these abstract commitments.. So here they are and the rationalizations behind them..

  1. To oblige myself towards conversing whilst applying euphemistic languages. The justification is that many a times have I distressed other individuals using my somewhat dysphemistic approach..
  2. To cultivate my rather inferior English speaking prowess. As I have often found that my ability in using the English language has in fact, deteriorated since the SPM examinations..
  3. To further intensify my understandings of the subjects which are being expounded to me in lectures. This is to enhance my chance of acquiring preeminent results in the finals..
  4. To advance my presence to those who wish to ameliorate their apprehension of law subjects. This is because such individuals often are more inquired about the subjects than others, thus they have the tendency to contribute towards a higher standard of perspicacity in regards of courses of study.
  5. To develop a tendency to become more amicable. It is to of great displeasure to others that I am often too engrossed with my ideas that I have not even considered theirs.. Therefore this year I have made it a point to try to accept foreign concepts into my mental drafts.

Well.. I do hope such resolutions can be followed through the whole year.. As I have clearly stated in my 4th resolution.. Anyone who wishes to learn about the subjects in class and doesn't mind me tagging along.. Please do inform me.. I would love to be a part of your study group.. :)

Hopefully.. My resolutions are far from being resolutions as depicted in the following comics..

A New Dawn.. :)

You know that feeling? The one that makes you feel as if everything is perfect.. That your life is free from problems? No work.. No assignments.. No worries..

For a moment.. I felt just that.. But then, it just went away.. It doesn't bother me because it came to me.. I'll cherish it forever.. :)

We go about everyday thinking about the things we want.. Never thinking about what we have.. Never being thankful.. Always wanting something more.. Something to make us feel happy.. I agree.. Such are the traits which accompany us as human beings.. Such needs have been encoded within our biological beings.. Human nature as they call it.. The thing that keeps us alive.. Ironically it can also be the reason for our death.. A wise man once told me of a phrase.. It goes something like this, "What makes us happy makes us sad".. I agree.. Some of the things in life can make us happy and make us sad at the same time.. But it all boils down to us.. What do we want to feel? If we know what we want to feel.. Then strive for it.. You don't expect something for nothing right? We can achieve whatever we want in life.. All we have to do is go after it.. Chase your dreams.. :D

Hey, I Love You..

You'd be surprised how many times that sentence has been thrown at me..
So.. Love.. Is it just me or is everyone divulging in it now?
I've misinterpreted it loads of times.. Until now.. I have yet to discern its meaning..

Affection.. Fondness.. Ardency.. Infatuation..

What is it?

"Love is a game that two can play and both win.", - Eva Gabor
"Love is the flower you've got to let grow.", - John Lennon
"Love takes up where knowledge leaves off.", - St. Thomas Aquinas
Perceptions on love are often divergent..
It is subjective..
There is no definite answer..

We can still guess..

Want to take law in Malaysia?

For my juniors who wish to take up foundations in law.. :)

This is based on my experience..

There are two public universities that offer foundations for law.. Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and University Islam Antarabangsa (UIA).. So which one to take? It's up to you.. But here are the things that you should note..

UiTM has a degree program called Bachelor of Legal Studies (BLS) before getting a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).. If you get into UIA, there's only a Bachelor in Laws.. Now, which one is better? According to my UIA lecturer.. UiTM graduates are more work-ready compared to UIA graduates.. But UIA students can go for syariah.. Although there is a way for UiTM students to get syariah.. Anyway.. This is beyond the undergraduates program..

I should be showing you the road to foundations.. Let me give you a brief intro about law in UiTM.. Now, my program is called PI005.. This program is the same in UiTM Kuantan and UiTM Merbok.. Now, in Shah Alam there are two other programs for law.. What are the difference? PI005 only lets you continue your degree in UiTM.. But, if you get the ones in Shah Alam (PI006/PI007).. You can continue your degree in UKM, UUM, UM, and UiTM.. For more information about this please visit this website.. Go ahead.. Click the link..

These are the entry requirements for PI005 extracted from the link:

Candidates who wish to enter this programme must fulfill university requirement and possess the minimum qualifications as follows:
· An excellent result in SPM or its equivalent achieving at least grade A- in any of three (3) subjects (excluding English and Mathematics)

· Candidates must score at least a credit B+ grade in English Language AND a credit grade in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics

These are the entry requirement for PI006/PI007 extracted from the link:
Candidates who wish to enter this programme must fulfill university requirement and possess the minimum qualifications as follows:

So that's UiTM for you.. :)..

Now let's move on to UIA..

You have to learn arab.. I can only remember that.. XD..
This is the comment from my friend, Farah Atiqah who was originally from UiTM but transferred to UIA..
"okay juniors...who wants to take law...well...u r welcome bebeyh...but yeah...b prepared coz LAW=READING...ALOT!!!...ok as arif ask me to elaborate,,,comparing UITM n UIA's law...taklaa byk sgt diff cuma uia u ada arab as xtra subjects n UIA ni more towards theory,,,uitm pula more on both ada pros n cons...nnty i tulis in my blog...TP if lawyer uia n uitm bgabung!!! sumpahh hot!!! sbb mereka akn slg complement each other...percayalah!!!"

P/S: Farah.. Thanks.. :D

Entry requirements:
Can be found in this link.

So, I don't know much about UIA.. Fine.. :P.. So.. Let me tell you about the pre-law program in UiTM.. Firstly, you will learn English.. A lot.. My program.. PI005 has 3 semesters.. For each semester you will have to learn at least 2 English subjects.. There will be a lot of law subjects that have relations to history that you have learned in secondary school.. Learning law is very fun.. For one thing.. You won't learn any mathematics.. Yes.. No more add maths.. :D.. You shall not hear any type of sciences.. Nope.. No Physics.. No Chemistry.. No Biology.. Mostly what you need to do in foundations is to understand the concepts of law.. The procedures.. And you are required memorize a bit.. So, you can expect all these in your foundations.. :).. It's not that hard.. Trust me.. If you put your effort in it.. You'll have no problem..

Critism of UiTM
Now, everything has its pros and cons.. Here are some things you will need to take note of..
  1. Only 20% of foundation students from UiTM get to pursue their law degrees..
  2. This is caused mostly by the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) in which students are required to attain a Band 4 (Although I doubt you can't acquire this).. For your information that is the same level for TESL students..
  3. If you get PI005.. You can only pursue your degree in UiTM..
So, that raps it up a bit.. Anymore questions.. Please do ask.. :D

Seriously.. I don't know..

"Until you see me in your dreams
We'll stay awake beneath the trees
We'll watch the buildings turn to dust
A sky of diamonds just for us
You are the risk I'll always take
The only branch I'll never break
Those fears we'll blow them all way"

Ellie Goulding - I'll Hold My Breath

I don't know..
 I'm confused.. :(..
I don't know what I want..
I feel insecure..

History repeats itself..

So.. I guess I shouldn't really say I'm disappointed with my MUET results.. But, if I do.. I'd be nothing but a hypocrite.. I'd be smearing my own dignity by faking my emotions.. So.. To make it clear.. I'm not exactly satisfied.. But, I suppose it could have been worse..

So, what's up with the title?

You do remember my post in which I shared my 1st semester results? This one.. Well, I wasn't the only one who achieved that pointer.. Farah Atiqah got the exact same pointer as me.. So, what does this have to do with anything?

She got Band 4 too..

So, I'm wondering now.. If you were still here.. You would  presumably have a bright future..

Seriously, things are going quite nicely.. The assignments so far have been awarded quite high marks.. I was mostly surprised on an assignment in regards of a client named Omar Shariff.. Where we were awarded 5/5.. :).. Hope things go as smooth as this the whole semester.. Owh, and I am considering retaking the MUET examinations.. :P

MUET results..

So.. I was walking to my room.. After obtaining my laptop which was had a system malfunction (I installed Ubuntu and had dual boot) from the shop.. Everything was normal until.. "You got band 4", said a friend.. I was bedazzled.. How did he? What the? It didn't matter.. I had to check for myself..

But, the funny thing was.. Everyone else didn't even need to ask what my results were.. They knew.. I'm still figuring out how.. -.-"

Truth be told.. I am a bit disappointed.. But, I'm still grateful.. I did mess up the essay.. I didn't know what I was writing.. So.. It figures..

When is the MUET results coming out?

Soon I guess.. *Sigh
Band 4.. Band 4.. Band 4.. *Crossing fingers
My whole future can be based on this.. -.-" That's how IMPORTANT it is for me..

The Future..

So the new year has finally come.. The final days before the new year were filled with a new trend in Facebook.. Commenting on other people using codes.. I was not excluded from such an activity.. Some of the comments I have received are sometimes contradictory to each other.. This furthers my argument that different individuals perceive others differently.. I believe this hypothesis stands.. To better expound such claims I have compiled some of the criticisms I have received.. The individuals that have partaken in this particular survey I have made anonymous in this blog.. Although.. If there are stalkers.. I believe it shouldn't be a difficult task to determine the participants of this activity.. Without further a due.. Let me present the comments..

Hopefully 2011 will bring better feedback's from others.. HAHA
