Life is a journey. There are obstacles here and there but we need to savour the time we have before it's all over..
To tell you the truth most of us take things for granted.. What we have now.. Might be something we won't be able to have forever..
We get angry because our internet connection is slow.. We go berserk if the food isn't delicious.. We curse for the world to know when our relationships don't work out.. We even get mad if we don't get to watch our favorite TV show because somebody is watching something else.. I could list down all the things we get mad for but it would be endless.. We think we have the worst life in the world..
That's why we have to think our life is bad? That others have a better life?
Maybe we should look at these people..
According to the United Nations about 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes. This is one person every three and a half seconds. One.. Two.. Three.. There someone dies of hunger.. And we complain about food not being delicious.. Stop complaining..
60% of Mumbai's more than 18 million inhabitants live in slums.. This means that 10.8 million people there live in a thickly populated, run-down, squalid part of a city, inhabited by poor people.. Remember Slumdog Millionaire? Yeah.. It's real..
So before you go mocking about how your life really is on Facebook.. Think about the 80% of the world population that don't even have internet access..
